Meet the Staff
The Rev. Jeff Geary – Pastor; born in Chicago Heights, Il; graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and pursuing a doctorate in Medieval History at SUNY Stony Brook; husband of The Rev. Noelle Damico and father of August Xavier; Jeff is an avid reader, tree climber and drinker of Fair Trade coffee. Lynn Dunn – Director of Christian Education; born in Chicago, Il; Lynn received a Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary (NYC) in May of 2011, and was received as a candidate for ministry by the Hudson River Presbytery in September; she has served her church and community as both a Christian educator and as a chaplain while raising 2 children. Tyrell Lundman - Director of Music ministry; Tyrell Lundman is a graduate of the University of Montana and the University of Notre Dame. He holds a MSM in Sacred Music and is originally from Havre, Montana. He prefers cats. Stella Aviles – Executive Assistant; born in San Salvador, El Salvador; grew up in Brooklyn and New York City; mother of 2; has been faithfully serving the White Plains church since 1987. Vicente Velasco – Sexton; born in the Philippines; father of 2 girls; has been serving the White Plains church since 1998. Noel Warner - Business Manager; born in Kingston, Jamaica; formerly in banking with Chase Manhattan; father of 2 grown children and grandfather of 2; has been serving the White Plains church since 1998. Gina Cerillo – Nursery School Director; born in Yonkers, NY; holds a Master’s degree in early childhood development; proud mother of 2 boys; has been a member of the White Plains church since 1995, and the Nursery School Director since 2002. The Rev. Margaret ("Peggy") Howland – born in Philadelphia, PA; University of Pennsylvania, A B in Oriental Studies; Princeton Theological Seminary, M Div; Union Theological Seminary of NY, STM cum laude; Pastor Emeritus of South Pres. Church of Yonkers; Int’l Director of IAWM (Intl Assoc of Women Ministers); active in Presbyterian Peace Fellowship, women’s concerns, other justice and peace organizations. Hobbies: scuba diving, underwater photography, boating, marine biology, wild flowers, & more. The Rev. Sarah Henkel – born in Markham, Il and grew up in Secaucus, NJ; graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary; she currently works as Cross-Cultural Network Coordinator for the Hudson River Presbytery; she and her husband, William Summers (of El Paso,TX) enjoy food-growing, rambling walks, and time with Roman, their feline companion. |
