Christians are encouraged to see life as a gift, and thus to seek joy.
As such, churches must find ways to laugh, to play and to celebrate our shared life.

At The Presbyterian Church, fellowship activities and events are scheduled throughout the year for every age group. The Fellowship Committee carries out its work on two fronts: 1) by generating, planning for, and implementing programs and events for the church, and 2) by preparing and serving food for a wide range of church programs and events. The committee puts on a number of its own events but also strives to work together with other groups in the church.

Here is an overview of some of our activity:

  • Advent Brunch
  • Christmas Party and Carol Sing
  • Concerts (traditional and contemporary)
  • Lenten Pancake Brunch
  • The Book Club (third Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m.)
  • Prayer and Conversation (every Wednesday at 12:00 Noon)

Above all else, the Fellowship Committee attempts to be a dynamic and creative presence in the life of the church. As a committee of highly energized women and men, they are continually working to come up with the next great idea!!
